A reflection on gendered citizenship, families, identities, and belonging/s, the exhibition consists of video, repurposed objects, paintings, and prints by artists Catherine Pancake, Michelle Angela Ortiz, and Imani Roach. Each of the individual artists’ work considers personal history and citizenship as a multi-tiered construct which applies to membership, position and relationship between the individual, community, state and society.

Please join us for refreshments and hors d’oeuvres to celebrate the Solid States / Fluid Language exhibition. Performance by Yixuan Pan at 6:15 p.m. followed by curator’s gallery talk.

Six artists – Jessica Jane Julius, Amy Lemaire, Yixuan Pan, Nate Ricciuto, Esther Ruiz, and Kristen Neville Taylor – test the boundaries of glass to produce sculpture, installation, performance and video works. Curated by Megan Biddle, the exhibit explores glass as a wide-ranging language full of expression and subtleties.

Congratulations to the winners of the Bucks County Plein Air Quick Draw Contest which was sponsored by the Arts & Cultural Council. Hiu Lai Chong, Rockville, MD, won first place; Debra Latham, Kingwood, TX, won second place; and Ray Hassard, Cincinnati, OH, won third place.
