This was a view across the Lehigh River on a beautiful spring day.
"Sweetgum at Fonthill", oil done at EarthDay Celebration.
"Aldie Garden Springtime" 12×12" oil
"Lake Galena Early Spring" oil, 8×10. I really wanted to capture an effect which fascinates me every year. Before the new green leaves on the large trees, their tiny red flowers form subtle halos on them.
"Formation Currents, Diptych", acrylic medium, sand, acrylic paint, pastel. 24×36".
"Guardian", wood, ceramic, wool, wax. This sculpture was in the 2018 Works In Wood show at New Hope Arts. 18×12"
"Winged", Wood, flax paper, wax, stone 30h36w9d. This sculpture was in the Works I Wood show at New Hope Arts.
Riding the Crest", Wood, Stainless steel medium. This sculpture was in the 2018 Works In Wood show at New Hope Arts.
"Contained and Emerging II", wood, black silicone carbide paste. stainless steel medium. This sculpture is currently in the 2020-2031 Works In Wood show at New Hope Arts.
"Caged", copper, rose quartz, rock. This sculpture was just in the 2020 Phillips Mill Juried Show.

Drawing and painting has always been a major part of my life. This creative process is a direct response to the observed as well as an expression of poetic vision (which allows interpretation or abstraction of things seen).

Working in a series is most effective, as it focuses me on certain imagery or a concept or medium until I’ve explored them in depth.

Bachelor’s from Penn State
Graduate studies at Tyler and the PA Academy
Studies in etching and Viscosity Printing of etchings at Atelier 17, Paris with Sir Stanley William Hayter and viscosity printmaking at NYU with Krishna Reddy.

Numerous exhibitions including ones in NYC, Philadelphia, Paris, London, Sydney, Zurich, Bucks County, with work in private and public collections in all those locations.
