Megan Lawlor

Fine Artist

Megan grew up in the seaside community of Manasquan, NJ. Enrolled by her father at a young age in her first formal painting class with renowned landscape artist, Ted Goerschner, N.A., Ted emphasized the need to paint from life and that “an artist must know how to draw, or their painting will not be believable.”

Megan received a classical art education at Moore College of Art & Design and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She continues her professional studies in portraiture and figurative art in painting and drawing workshops and Master Classes.

Her award winning work has been widely exhibited and is in collections in North America and Europe. Megan is an artist member of the American Impressionist Society, American Society of Marine Artists, Art Renewal Center, Oil Painters of America, Philadelphia Watercolor Society, Portrait Society of America and is an Elected Member of Salmagundi Club.

She is represented at Main Street Gallery in Manasquan, NJ and lives and works in North Wales, PA.
