Potter
I love being able to create functional and unique pottery. In the last couple years, I’ve been able to grow my wheelthrowing skills and take my pieces to new heights and breadth. I like to use carving, texture or alterations on my pieces to enhance surface design and enjoy glaze and slip design experimentation. I find motivation and instruction from great functional potters such as Danny Meisinger, Bill VanGelder and many others.
My pieces are all foodsafe and meant to be used.
My pottery has been accepted to local shows including the Doylestown arts festival, Renaissance crafts, and McConkey’s Market. To connect my pottery addiction to support of animal welfare, proceeds go to animal rescues/shelters and support groups, and other worthwhile causes.
