2024 Small Works Show at the ArtWalk in Doylestown Hospital.

Participation Requirements:

Must be a member of Arts & Cultural Council

Each artist must sign and bring the ArtWalk completed loan agreement, which includes their contact information for potential sales and a brief description of their piece.

There is a $15 entry fee for all artists.

Each piece should have a note attached to the back of the work with the following information: Title, artist name, price and contact information for reference. Please ensure that all the information matches what is filled in on the loan agreement.

All pieces must be wired for hanging.

Framing is optional but canvas edge must be finished.

Due to limited space, only 150 hung artworks will be accepted. Acceptance will be based on the time of submission, and each member may submit a primary piece and a secondary piece for consideration.

We would like to focus on small works with a maximum size of 12×16 inches, including frames. These are more apt to sell as gifts for the holidays.

Sculptors may submit two works. There are 5 locked cases available. Dimensions of the case are: 18 inches deep, 27 inches wide, and 40 inches tall with the shelving removed.  With three shelves in place, each space is 13 inches high; with two shelves in place, one space would be 26 inches high, and the other 13 inches high. Max height of work is 35 inches X 20 wide X 15 deep.

Only original work will be accepted, no prints.

All work must be for sale.

Focus and Themes:

Themes for the exhibition include respite, hope, peace, and solitary moments. Artwork that invites viewers into a realm of tranquility and introspection. They evoke a sense of calm and renewal, suggesting a pause where one can breathe deeply and find solace. We hope to show diversity in medium and style. This theme is not required in submitted work but merely a suggestion.

Sales:

Multiple signs with QR codes will be placed around the ArtWalk to direct prospective purchasers to the Arts and Cultural Council Online Small Works Gallery.

Commission Structure remains consistent with our typical member shows 80/20.
