My work, as with most artists, is a reflection of my life experiences and interests. The things that I find most inspiring are those that celebrate the past, be they in the form of architecture or simple household items. I find that the design sensibilities of the nineteenth and earlier twentieth century were so embodied by beauty. The smallest home or simplest gadget was loving created, filled with curves and swirls and add-ons to make interactions with them so much more wonderful. My wish is for viewers to see my works as a way back to a past time, to find warm memories from places and things in their own history, and to see the beauty in the ordinary pieces of our lives.
