January 23 – March 12, 2019
A reflection on gendered citizenship, families, identities, and belonging/s, the exhibition consists of video, repurposed objects, paintings, and prints by artists Catherine Pancake, Michelle Angela Ortiz, and Imani Roach. Each of the individual artists’ work considers personal history and citizenship as a multi-tiered construct which applies to membership, position and relationship between the individual, community, state and society.
