I primarily work in oil and pastels, painting both plein air and in my studio.  

Growing up, I was greatly influenced by Russian academic art and Russian impressionism. I have lived in picturesque Bucks County for most of my adult life and became a big admirer of the Pennsylvania impressionist school. I am moved by the local scenery and focus on capturing its light and color in my landscape paintings.

I also find painting inspiration in my travels and in my garden.

I belong to various art associations and exhibit in local and international galleries.
