During the Covid lockdown, I was craving a connection with my community of artistic friends. What came through my pent up seclusion was for me to begin painting and sketching. As a self-taught artist, I create whatever appears on my canvas. I envisioned sending a thoughtful bouquet of flowers to a friend who may have needed some nurturing during this stressful time. Although there were no flowers to paint, just remembering the joy of sending and receiving such a beautiful arrangement inspired me to recreate that emotional moment. One of my favorite short careers that I had years ago was being a florist.
