Russell Risko

Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Fine Artist


Russell Risko is a seasoned Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Bucks County Artist. During his 40-year career as a visual communicator, Russ achieved leadership roles as Art Director, Creative Director and Ad Agency President. His work has appeared in countless regional, national and e-zine publications and website propertie

Today, Russ enters the next chapter of exploration in watercolor and mixed media — without the need-it-yesterday time constraints that were typical of his former ad-age career. Russ invites you to join along as he incorporates new medium techniques in line, color granulation and surface texture into his work — including impressionistic landscapes (Fields & Streams Series), facial abstractions (Head Games Series), junkyard relics (Grilles Series) and Bristlecone Pines (Looking Up Series) genres.

Russ earned a BFA Degree from Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University. He is a member of the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County, the Philadelphia Water Color Society, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Doylestown Art League and New Hope Arts.
