This mixed media mosaic was created to represent the emergence of blossoms from the stoney ground. The smaller iridescent glass tiles show the reflection of light from the sun in shimmering drops of dew. The white stones glow in the dark representing flowers that bloom at night. And all materials derived from the earth itself; stone, clay, glass. The piece is unframed and the yellow flower emerges from the center.
