CONTEMPORARY LANDSCAPES IN OIL PASTEL

I live and work in a former cigar factory in Souderton PA with my wife Heather and our dog Crusher.  We took it from a rough dirty shell and turned it into a warm inviting space full of art.  Most of my work is done in oil pastels: messy, rich, and a unique blend of drawing & painting.  I also paint in oils and draw in ink.  Stop in to check out my workspace and lots of paintings of skies, trees, rolling fields, barns, and industrial sites.  I like to focus on the everyday scene that might go overlooked but is totally worth acknowledging as a painting.

I want to bring the viewer into the moment when inspiration struck.  Nothing makes me happier than when a collector tells me they still love the painting they got from me 6 months, 2 years, a decade, or more ago.  

Heather and I opened Exhibit B Gallery in late 2016 where we bring art to the community as well as support so many additional artists.  Operating the gallery has been a rewarding and challenging experience like no other.
