A & C members Constance McBride (Visual Artist) and Bernadette McBride (Literary Artist) share the A & C Sculpture Spotlight from July 2023 to January 2024 at the Township Library of Lower Southampton, highlighting five Lonely Girls (sculpture) and five Poems beginning July 7th.
Bernadette McBride is the award-winning author of four full-length poetry collections, served as long-time poetry editor for the Schuylkill Valley Journal and is a founding member of poetry improv troupe, No River Twice. Constance McBride’s work throws light on issues experienced by most women—from becoming aware of the male gaze and self-objectifying, to harassment, abuse, marginalization and ageism.
Visitors can see their work during library hours: 10am–8pm Monday through Thursday, 12-4pm Friday, and 9am–4pm Saturday. The Township Library of Lower Southampton is located at 1983 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville-Trevose, PA.
