Join us to explore the process of handmade bookbinding with Mindy of CartaBooks. Mindy, a Bucks County resident, has been a bookbinder for more than 13 years. She learned the basics of her craft at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She will discuss her methods as she shows you how her blank books and journals are made, from details about the raw materials and her inspirations to the various binding methods she uses and her final work.
Sunday, Sept 26th at Freeman Hall (181 East Court St, Doylestown, PA) from 1pm to 2pm.
