Show Runs September 10 – October 2
Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County hosts its second annual Fall Salon Member Show at Freeman Hall, which opens the weekend of the Doylestown Art Festival.
This show will be a fabulous opportunity for artists and collectors, all of whom are invited to see the show and support local artists by making a purchase.
In addition, the weekend of October 1-2, the A&C has some “bookish events” planned to highlight both literary and visual artist members.
The exhibition and programs are free and open to the public.

- A&C member artists may submit two artworks – one framed and one portfolio piece.
- There is no entry fee. This is a member-benefit exhibit opportunity.
- A&C member artists may submit 2D works in any medium.
- 3D works also accepted, with some size constraints. Contact info@bucksarts.org for details.
- Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Some artists may have pieces displayed on the second floor.
- Drop off Wednesday September 7, between 3-7 pm at Freeman Hall located at 181 East Court Street, Doylestown.
- Artists are invited to work en plein air on the grounds of Freeman Hall for the run of the show.

Intent to Enter Work
- Register online between August 1- 19, 2022, at www.bucksarts.org/enter
- A&C member artists may submit two artworks – one framed and one portfolio piece.
- Online registration requires only the image of the framed piece (image does not need to include the frame, only the artwork). Do NOT submit portfolio image.
- Drop off Wednesday September 7, 3-7 pm at Freeman Hall located at 181 East Court Street, Doylestown.
Show Dates
- Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11, from 10 am to 5 pm (during Doylestown Arts Festival)
- September 17-18, noon to 4
- September 24-25, noon to 4
- October 1-2, noon to 4
- Breakdown / artwork pick up October 3, 3-7pm

Opportunity

Requirements
- Participating artists are required to register online between August 1- 19, 2022, at www.bucksarts.org/enter
- A&C member artists may submit two artworks – one framed and one portfolio piece.
- There is no entry fee. This is a member-benefit exhibit opportunity.
- A&C member artists may submit 2D works in any medium.
- 3D works also accepted, with some size constraints. Contact info@bucksarts.org for details.
- Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Some artists may have pieces displayed on the second floor.
- Size limit for all art should not exceed 16” X 20”, frames may make dimensions larger (i.e., a 16” x 20” painting in a 24” x 30” frame is acceptable)
- Artists’ name, phone number, email address, website (if available), title, medium, and price must be on the back of all pieces.
- All hanging works must be wired for hanging or will be declined upon delivery; NO sawtooth hangers.
- Artists are invited to bring promotional literature (postcards, business cards, etc.) for the A&C to make available to visitors to the exhibit. We will also feature this literature in our booth at the Doylestown Arts Festival.
- Participating artists may agree to commit to some gallery sitting during the run of the show; we will be in touch.
- Regional artists who are not currently A&C members are encouraged to join now and take advantage of this exhibition opportunity. Learn more at bucksarts.org.
Standard label for artwork
- Artwork will be labeled in the Freeman Hall galleries.
- All artwork will be labeled with Artists’ Name, Contact Information, Title, Medium, and Price.
Sales
- Artists will receive 80% of the proceeds from the sale of any artwork. The remaining 20% will support the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County.
- Buyers will purchase work directly through the A&C. Artists will be informed of all sales and will be reimbursed at the end of the show.
Liability
- I understand that the A&C exhibition space at Freeman Hall will be used by artist tenants and Salem Church for occasional events during the exhibition.
- The work I am submitting for A&C FALL SALON MEMBERS SHOW at FREEMAN HALL is the possession and responsibility of the artist. While the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and Freeman Hall at Salem will do their best to protect the work of art, they are not liable for any damages and/or theft that may come to the work while on display. I also understand that I/the artist am/is may be responsible for picking up work at the close of the exhibition on October 3. The Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and Freeman Hall at Salem will be unable to store work after that date.
- Any works submitted to the A&C FALL SALON MEMBERS SHOW at FREEMAN HALL may be photographed, and photographs may be used by the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and Freeman Hall at Salem for video, website, internet, publicity, films, social media, and Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and Freeman Hall at Salem publications. I understand that the artist’s name may be used in conjunction with the images. I also understand that the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and Freeman Hall at Salem will not share these images with any other institution or organization for their use without prior permission.
