Bio:

Award-winning artist Barbara Backman is deeply inspired by the beauty of nature. Growing up in the picturesque Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, she developed a profound appreciation for the stunning landscapes around her. After relocating to Pennsylvania, Barbara found a new source of inspiration in the serene and beautiful Bucks County. Now, she captures these magnificent views on paper and canvas for others to enjoy and collect. Her original artwork is available for purchase, and she welcomes select commissions.

Barbara obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University and holds the honored distinction of being an accepted member of the Pastel Society of America. She has also been awarded the advanced level of Signature Member of the Philadelphia Pastel Society, recognizing her excellence in the medium.
