Originally from Sellersville, Pennsylvania, it was one of my high school electives that really ignited a fire deep inside me…photography. How I loved learning the process: composing a scene; the mechanics and technical aspects of the camera; working in the darkroom; and then the moment of the negative coming to life on paper! While technology has certainly impacted the photographic arts – I still go back to the basics and find that I enjoy my time behind the lens the most when I’m using those same core film practices in my digital work. And, yes, I still enjoy using film from time to time, too!
