A Wintry Day, Washington Crossing

Soft pastel

  • 6.5 x 9 inches, framed, gray barnwood look frame

Washington Crossing in Bucks County is a very special place, especially for its history. It is a place of beauty that looks out toward the Delaware River. One can walk around and gain an introspection of our thoughts about that time in history when Washington and his men were there and crossed the Delaware River. They were uncompromising in what they knew they had to do. I hope this painting of Washington Crossing reminds you of our past heroes and our heroes of today. Art does bring beauty, joy, communication, and truth. It can also stir emotional responses with the viewer. I hope this painting does that for you…. but with a peaceful feeling..
