Matt DeProspero is a Lambertville, NJ artist who received a degree in Illustration from Hussian College of Art and studied painting and drawing at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. He is represented by F.A.N. Gallery in Old City, Philadelphia and participates in many group exhibitions, plein air painting competitions, and art festivals throughout the Delaware Valley. In his work Matt strives to capture a fleeting sense of the time and place by faithfully interpreting the atmosphere, color and feeling of each scene, whether it be a landscape, still life or interior. In doing so he hopes to elevate the everyday to a higher level of beauty and appreciation for the world around us.
