My still lifes ask viewers to pause and re-consider familiar objects. They’re friendly and seasonal. I’d like to add more contentment to the world of the viewer.
“Tipped” is about how things we buy have a life of their own and I wanted to convey how these peaches trundle out of their punnet.
Gene Underwood has been living in Bucks County most of his life and feels lucky to be able to say that.
