My still lifes ask viewers to pause and re-consider familiar objects. They’re friendly and seasonal. I’d like to add more contentment to the world of the viewer.

“Early Morning Blues” is an example of how we live now, a quick mug of tea perched on a countertop as we race around to be off in the morning.
