The Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and Visit Bucks County presented “For the Love of Art” from May 25 to August 31, 2020

Our first online exhibition and sale, For the Love of Art, concluded on August 31, 2020, after a successful three months. Over 90 member-artists exhibited 180+ works of art with numerous pieces sold. From ceramics, fiber art, wood turning, multi-media, collage, and photography to painting and sculpture, For the Love of Art showcased the best of regional art, reaching out to a broad and diverse community of artists, arts enthusiasts, collectors, and patrons. 

A heartfelt thanks to all of the artists who were involved in the show. The quality of work, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and positive feedback was inspiring. In addition, their willingness to support the show through social media and personal and professional contacts, with an insider view of the stories behind the art and arts processes, helped the A&C reach a wider audience. We are also grateful for the number of exhibiting members who created dynamic and inspiring Facebook Live posts which were shared with the Arts & Cultural Council’s Facebook page throughout the summer.

The Arts & Cultural Council was encouraged by the interest of both the artists and the public through our first online exhibition and sale.
