    MFA Gallery’s Group Showcase: “Create That Tune” features a wide variety of juried artworks from chosen artists, in multiple diverse mediums, all of which were created based on a song selected by the artist. The Title of every artwork in this Showcase will be the name of a song and its performer.

  • The Faculty Emeriti Arts Exhibition and Opening Reception August 28 from 4-7pm

    The School of Arts and Communication at Bucks County Community College (BCCC) is pleased to announce the opening of a special exhibition celebrating the artistic contributions of its faculty emeriti members. The exhibition will be held at the Hicks Art Center located at 275 Swamp Road in Newtown PA from August 25 to October 25, 2025. The legacy of arts faculty who established the outstanding reputation of the Bucks County Community College School of Arts and Communication beginning in 1964 through the present will be seen, heard and on full view throughout Hicks Art Center in the upcoming The Faculty Emeriti Arts Exhibition. The public is invited to attend an opening reception on August 28th from 4 – 7 in Hicks Art Center, Room H100.

    Louise Levy is an award-winning photographer who explores the world of light and shadow. Her work has been accepted in many juried shows including the Phillips’ Mill Photography Exhibition, and a solo show at Foulkeways at Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. She also received the Best of Show award from Destig, an international Fine Arts publication.

  • Small Oils Exhibition

    Six area artists have had paintings accepted in the Philadelphia Sketch Club’s annual Small Oils Exhibition. Matt DeProspero, Lisa Domenic, Janine Dunn Wade, Jas Sziegel and Gene Underwood and Michael Weinert. Kate McCammon, a noted Philadelphia-based mixed media artist, was the juror.
    The Small Oils Exhibition will run from September 7 until September 28. Admission is free when the gallery is open, on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 1pm until 5pm, and by appointment. There will be a reception on Sunday, September 14, from 1 pm until 3 pm.
