Join us on October 25 from 6:30-7:30pm and learn more about the impact of Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia in our community. A speaker from the Alzheimers Association will offer a brief discussion on warning signs and risk factors, healthy habits, the differences between Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, the impact on families and caregivers, and the importance of early detection. We are also joined by sisters Constance and Bernadette McBride, of the Arts Council of Bucks County, who will discuss the art and poetry they created as they helped their mother wrestle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Their exhibit, The Lonely Girls, can be viewed at the library until January, 2024.
