Peruvian artist Kukuli Velarde’s exhibition, The Complicit Eye, was first shown at Taller Puertorriqueño in spring 2019. “This provocative body of work … reveals Velarde’s long-standing use of self-portraiture as a mode of intersectional feminist critique.” This exhibit is presented in conjunction with the College’s celebration of Hispanic Awareness Month.
