In its 58th year, Art of the State stands as a cornerstone of Pennsylvania’s vibrant art scene. This year’s exhibition offers a captivating glimpse into the Commonwealth’s rich artistic heritage, featuring a diverse range of works spanning painting, photography/digital media, craft, sculpture, and works on paper.
There were 2,344 works submitted for consideration. Following a very challenging jury process, 97 were chosen, including our member Michael Frank’s piece “Amish Paradise.”
Art of the State will be open from Sunday, June 8th through September 14, 2025.
Presented by The State Museum of Pennsylvania in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation, Art of the State will offer cash awards for selected entries in the categories of Painting, Work on Paper, Photography & Digital Media, Sculpture and Craft.
