“Stone Bridge” was painted on location in Carversville, PA. This structure has been a favorite of many plein air artists. “Stone Bridge” is a challenge in visual perspective rendered in a realistic expressionistic style. It is a comfortable scene done during the fall season thus ensuring a bit of color variation and textures.
Christina Poruczynski is an art educator who taught four decades in public schools, all levels, mainly secondary advanced art and Advanced Placement Art classes in studio, portfolio development, art history, and adult art instruction in painting. She is currently creating artwork in her home studio.
