My hope for you in viewing my paintings is that you give yourself over to the piece and that you allow yourself to experience it without the confines and outside the boundaries of everydayness. To exist for a short time in the abstract and permit yourself to feel and interpret freely – to experience the feelings that I have tried to convey and to live within the moments that I have tried to capture.
As a painter, each one of my paintings symbolizes an experience in my life – each one unique – frozen moments in time. Picasso said that “Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.” I definitely agree.
