Dr. Richard DiBlassio is an educator, choral conductor, music arranger and educational consultant. He is an accomplished accordionist, pianist, and vocalist who is in demand at senior centers, retirement communities and more throughout the tri-state area. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Temple University and has worked in the public schools as a music educator, arts supervisor, and school principal. He performs music of all genres and styles from many different time periods, and is especially fond of the music from the 1930's through the 1960's.
Dr. DiBlassio has performed in and directed musical shows in Atlantic City, has recorded and toured as a traveling musician, and has appeared on a venue with Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty. He is the recipient of many honors and awards, most notably the prestigious National Gallery of Arts Scholars Award given to only one individual in each state. Dr. DiBlassio also proudly serves as a board member of the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County.
