My oil work deals with moments and narratives. The pieces contain places, people and things that exist but are idealized according to memories and imagination. The scenes are familiar to you as if you have been there before, but they also serve to create a new memory as you view them. I am pulling you into a story generated by a past moment while simultaneously creating a new memory in the present moment for you.
