SUMMARY:Doylestown Arts Festival - Call for Volunteers for Festival\, A&C Booth
DESCRIPTION:The 33rd annual Doylestown Arts Festival is coming up on September 7 – 8\, 2024. This fabulous event features 150+ juried artists\, live music on 5 stages\, live art and interactive demonstrations. There is one driving force that makes it possible – a sea of ‘blue shirts’. As a team of over 100 people\, the volunteers – fondly known as the blue shirts – do everything from setup and teardown to stage crew and parking management. This year is no different. If you’re looking for a way to get involved in the community\, meet some great people\, and help put on a Doylestown tradition\, they’d love to have you. You can sign up here. \n \nThe Arts & Cultural Council will have a booth at this year’s Doylestown Arts Festival\, and we are hoping for another successful event! On Saturday\, September 7 and Sunday\, September 8\, Co-chairs Charlene Cerasa & Clifford Eberly will need volunteers to assist in setting up\, staffing and tearing down the booth each day. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet festival goers to talk about the ACCBC! \nSetup and teardown volunteers must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. To sign up\, go to DAF Sign-up.

DESCRIPTION:Designed to illuminate the region’s ongoing commitment to arts and culture\, the Doylestown Arts Festival annually features 150+ juried artists\, live music on 5 stages\, live art and interactive demonstrations. Founded in 1991 by a small volunteer group of businesses and residents\, the festival now celebrates 31 years of showcasing creativity in Bucks County. The highly anticipated two-day street festival attracts thousands of visitors each year. \nThe 31st annual event is scheduled for Saturday\, September 10th & Sunday 11th\, 2022\, from 10am-5pm. The festival is free to the public. On Sunday the Bucks County Classic joins us with high speed bike races surrounding town. Follow us for news and updates!
