Robbin Farr

Poet, Writer & Bookbinder

Former high school literature teacher, creative writing instructor, Robbin Farr is now a founder and co-editor of River Heron Review, an online poetry journal. Writer, poet, photographer of blighted buildings, and sometimes bookbinder, Robbin lives in Doylestown, PA where she is actively involved in a community of poets and is on the Board of the Arts and Cultural Council of Bucks County. She is a founder also of River Heron Writers’ Workshops whose purpose is to provide creative writing workshops and retreats in the Bucks County area offering generative and supportive writing sessions using the Amherst Writers and Artists method. She holds an MFA from the University of Queens in Charlotte, NC and teaches writing at Rider University. She is the winner of the 2018 Main Street Voices poetry contest. Robbin fervently believes in supporting the literary arts through readings, publication, and workshops. She has been published in national journals and magazines including, Sanskrit, Philadelphia Stories, San Pedro River Review, Parentheses, Connecticut River Review, and others.
