DESCRIPTION:Modern Fossils is thrilled to again be a part of THAT: The Hunterdon Art Tour 2021! \nTHAT is an annual\, countywide\, self-guided driving tour of artist’s studios and cultural centers\, which will be open to the Public from 11AM-5PM on Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd. \n**Modern Fossils will once again be exhibiting inside the Frenchtown Hardware Store at 11 Kingwood Ave\, Frenchtown NJ\, on both days!** \nTHAT cultivates awareness of and builds connections within Hunterdon County’s abundant creative and educational communities\, and thereby gains recognition for the county as a vital home and destination for the arts. \nIn homage to the great American road trip\, THAT curates a countywide studio tour along the region’s scenic by-ways\, linking together a mixture of arts venues and studios as engaging day trips. DESCRIPTION:Join career artist and art instructor Adriana Groza for an ALL Inclusive\, interactive and engaging hands-on Fluid Acrylics Experience! SUMMARY:Poems for The Lonely Girls
DESCRIPTION:A & C members Constance McBride (Visual Artist) and Bernadette McBride (Literary Artist) share the A & C Sculpture Spotlight from July 2023 to January 2024 at the Township Library of Lower Southampton\, highlighting five Lonely Girls (sculpture) and five Poems beginning July 7th. \nBernadette McBride is the award-winning author of four full-length poetry collections\, served as long-time poetry editor for the Schuylkill Valley Journal and is a founding member of poetry improv troupe\, No River Twice. Constance McBride’s work throws light on issues experienced by most women—from becoming aware of the male gaze and self-objectifying\, to harassment\, abuse\, marginalization and ageism. \nVisitors can see their work during library hours: 10am–8pm Monday through Thursday\, 12-4pm Friday\, and 9am–4pm Saturday. The Township Library of Lower Southampton is located at 1983 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville-Trevose\, PA.

SUMMARY:Astronomical Exhibition Tour and Star Watch
DESCRIPTION:The Hicks Art Center Gallery is thrilled to collaborate with Bucks-Mont Astronomy Association to present a free and open to the public Star Watch on August 22\, 2023 from 6 – 10 p.m. In conjunction with the exhibition\, Astronomical: Gazing Inward & Beyond\, Exhibitions Associate Clifford Eberly will lead a walk through in the gallery at 6 p.m. with participating artists Katelyn B. Knight\, Christine McHugh\, Andrea Wallace and faculty Caren Friedman. Following the tour\, attendees are invited to purchase delicious\, authentic Thai food and beverages from the Thai Cha Chak Food Truck outside Hicks Art Center. At dusk\, BMAA club members will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions.\nDress warmly and bring binoculars or your own telescopes if you have them. We ask that you leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other participants and to prevent potential damage to delicate equipment.\nFor comfortable seating\, attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs in addition to their curiosity and taste buds!
