A Zoom link will be emailed to you the day of the meeting. \nAfter watching Cabaret and then All That Jazz\, you will notice many similar techniques used by Bob Fosse\, the director and choreographer of each film. We will hold a discussion on what the group notices in terms of Fosse’s style of directing\, choreography\, camera angles and movement\, etc.\, and the similarities and differences of these techniques as they relate to each film. DESCRIPTION:Join Modern Fossils and David Horowitz Studio for our OPEN HOUSE on Friday October 7th from 2pm – 8pm! \nAs part of The Hunterdon Art Tour’s First Friday Open Studio Series\, both David’s Barn / Workshop (More Art Studio) and Modern Fossils’ Greenhouse Studio will be open for touring! Additional works will be on display in our yard and home Gallery as well. \nThere will be snacks\, drinks\, and hot dogs on the grill\, plus live music in the yard! \nOur address is 207 Milford Rd\, right across from the Citgo Station Parking Lot (where there is usually plenty of parking).\nLook for the house with the huge wooden Pegasus Sculpture on the front porch\, and come around back!

DESCRIPTION:Since 2012\, Helen Rebekah Garber has incorporated her science and nursing experiences into her art. As a way to cope with the stress\, trauma and uncertainty that came with working with patients during the pandemic\, Garber transferred daily calculations onto her paintings which are on view in the exhibition\, “Code Number Safe [Un]Safe” in the Hicks Art Center Gallery. SUMMARY:Astronomical Exhibition Tour and Star Watch
DESCRIPTION:The Hicks Art Center Gallery is thrilled to collaborate with Bucks-Mont Astronomy Association to present a free and open to the public Star Watch on August 22\, 2023 from 6 – 10 p.m. In conjunction with the exhibition\, Astronomical: Gazing Inward & Beyond\, Exhibitions Associate Clifford Eberly will lead a walk through in the gallery at 6 p.m. with participating artists Katelyn B. Knight\, Christine McHugh\, Andrea Wallace and faculty Caren Friedman. Following the tour\, attendees are invited to purchase delicious\, authentic Thai food and beverages from the Thai Cha Chak Food Truck outside Hicks Art Center. At dusk\, BMAA club members will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions.\nDress warmly and bring binoculars or your own telescopes if you have them. We ask that you leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other participants and to prevent potential damage to delicate equipment.\nFor comfortable seating\, attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs in addition to their curiosity and taste buds!
