DESCRIPTION:Jeanne Chesterton is the featured artist for May at the J. B. Kline Gallery in Lambertville\, New Jersey. “Favoring Realism” highlights the paintings for which the award-winning artist is recognized. Working in oil\, Ms. Chesterton selects still life subjects\, artfully arranged in compositions mostly observed at eye level. Preferring common\, ordinary objects which reflect the beauty marks of age and wear\, she works to capture their presence in realistic renderings. “Zig Zag and Dots\,” featured here\, shows her affinity to metal ware.\nJeanne will be painting at the gallery most Saturdays from 2 to 4pm.\nThe Opening Reception is Saturday\, May 8th from 5 to 8pm. All are welcome.\nPlease visit the gallery website to check on hours and social distancing measures in place.
