DESCRIPTION:The first-ever Phillips Mill Photo Committee Show goes live online this April 3\, 2021.  The dedicated photographers who spend so much time putting together the Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition each year get to strut their stuff in their own show.  Each of the 3 dozen Phillips Mill Photo Committee members will have up to 8 fine art photographs on “display”.  It is a special opportunity to see the body of work these talented photographers create. \nAs a virtual show\, there is no excuse not to see it.  Sit back with your computer and binge-watch some stunning\, evocative photography\, pajamas optional.  All photographs are for sale\, so you can enjoy your favorites on your own wall! DESCRIPTION:Modern Fossils is thrilled to again be a part of THAT: The Hunterdon Art Tour 2021! \nTHAT is an annual\, countywide\, self-guided driving tour of artist’s studios and cultural centers\, which will be open to the Public from 11AM-5PM on Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd. \n**Modern Fossils will once again be exhibiting inside the Frenchtown Hardware Store at 11 Kingwood Ave\, Frenchtown NJ\, on both days!** \nTHAT cultivates awareness of and builds connections within Hunterdon County’s abundant creative and educational communities\, and thereby gains recognition for the county as a vital home and destination for the arts. \nIn homage to the great American road trip\, THAT curates a countywide studio tour along the region’s scenic by-ways\, linking together a mixture of arts venues and studios as engaging day trips. DESCRIPTION:Jeanne Chesterton is the featured artist for May at the J. B. Kline Gallery in Lambertville\, New Jersey. “Favoring Realism” highlights the paintings for which the award-winning artist is recognized. Working in oil\, Ms. Chesterton selects still life subjects\, artfully arranged in compositions mostly observed at eye level. Preferring common\, ordinary objects which reflect the beauty marks of age and wear\, she works to capture their presence in realistic renderings. “Zig Zag and Dots\,” featured here\, shows her affinity to metal ware.\nJeanne will be painting at the gallery most Saturdays from 2 to 4pm.\nThe Opening Reception is Saturday\, May 8th from 5 to 8pm.
