SUMMARY:Doylestown Musicfest
DESCRIPTION:Doylestown Music Fest is looking for sponsors to fund our free outdoor concert on Saturday May 4\, 2019 from 11am – 6pm.\nThe concert will take place in the parking lot beside Starbucks in the heart of the borough. Food vendors will be invited to setup on the perimeter and local merchants will be invited to participate as well. The event is expected to draw thousands of attendees from around the region \nDoylestown Music Fest is a grass roots event that supports and promotes local bands and musicians. During this week-long event\, local restaurants\, bars\, cafes\, merchants\, churches and museums host talented musicians for residents and visitors to enjoy. This year will be Doylestown Music Fest’s third annual event and we are looking to add a free outdoor concert in the heart of the borough featuring many talented musicians. We would also like to hire musicians to perform outside throughout town during that week. Our goal is to fill the streets of Doylestown with music.\nParticipating venues include Villa Capri\, Puck\, M.O.M.S\, Siren Records\, James A. DESCRIPTION:Artmobile Curriculum Consultants\n(2 positions available) \nMust have expertise in one or both of the following disciplines: \nVisual Arts/Humanities\, Science/Engineering/Physics \nArtmobile is an art museum for all ages housed in a 48-foot semi-trailer. It travels throughout Bucks County\nfrom September to June\, visiting schools in all 13 districts and many public sites. In addition to providing a\nmuseum experience for students\, Artmobile’s program includes pre-visit teacher training and educational\nmaterials with practical\, interdisciplinary classroom activities that correlate to Pennsylvania Core Standards\nAligned System. DESCRIPTION:Sherry Winston has performed in many of the major concert halls throughout the U.S. including Carnegie Hall\, Constitution Hall\, Lincoln Center and at the Kennedy Center. She is a musician\, composer\, and businesswoman. She has performed with Icon Stevie Wonder in NYC to honor the legendary Hal Jackson on his 97th birthday. Sherry also had the honor of performing for two  \nsitting presidents\, including President and Mrs. Clinton during their last holiday party at the White House and for former President George H.W. Bush at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC.  \nShe has been featured in The New York Times\, Ebony\, Black Enterprise\, Essence and More Magazines. Sherry has been a featured guest on the Today Show\, “Emeril Live\,” and has co-hosted and performed on 8 shows for Bet TV.  \nSherry has released 6 CD’s with her first “Do It For Love\,” going to #1 on BRE and the Black Excellence Charts. “Love Madness\,” and “Life is Love & Love is You\,” was Top 10 at Billboard Magazine.  \nAs a performer Sherry has opened for Sinbad John Legend & Vanessa Williams for the ELC\, Grover Washington\, Jr.\, Gerald Albright\, Ramsey Lewis\, Chaka Kahn\, “Pieces of a Dream\,” Peabo Bryson\, Regina Belle\, Diane Reeves\, Nelson Rangel\, Ronnie Laws and many others.On the business side\, Sherry worked as Director of Jazz Promotion at Columbia\, Arista\, Grp and Elektra Records.
