As we prepare for our inaugural Art show\, we’ve decided to honor the LGBTQ+ community for the work they’ve done to weave inclusion and diversity into the fabric of our lives. We invite all artists to submit 2D work to WE ARE PRIDE\, a show of celebration and unity\, at the contemporary Gallery at Union Coffee. DESCRIPTION:Jeanne Chesterton is the featured artist for May at the J. B. Kline Gallery in Lambertville\, New Jersey. “Favoring Realism” highlights the paintings for which the award-winning artist is recognized. Working in oil\, Ms. Chesterton selects still life subjects\, artfully arranged in compositions mostly observed at eye level. Preferring common\, ordinary objects which reflect the beauty marks of age and wear\, she works to capture their presence in realistic renderings. “Zig Zag and Dots\,” featured here\, shows her affinity to metal ware.\nJeanne will be painting at the gallery most Saturdays from 2 to 4pm.\nThe Opening Reception is Saturday\, May 8th from 5 to 8pm.
