SUMMARY:MFA Gallery - First Group Exhibition: "The Road Less Traveled"
DESCRIPTION:Join us at MFA Gallery on Friday\, May 2nd\, from 5 – 8pm for the Opening Reception of our First Group Exhibition\, entitled “The Road Less Traveled” ! \nThis juried Showcase will feature a wide variety of exemplary works in multiple mediums\, from over 50 selected artists\, who have created artwork based on the following theme: \nTHE ROAD LESS TRAVELED \n“Two roads diverged in a wood\, and I –\nI took the one less traveled by\,\nAnd that has made all the difference.”  -Robert Frost \nThe phrase “The Road Less Traveled” can be viewed as a depiction of the distinctive life that an artist chooses. It evokes the feeling of embarking upon a unique life path\, navigating changing landscapes\, and transversing the open road. “The Road Less Traveled” embodies the choice of one’s passion over pragmatism. The works in this Exhibit will portray an intensity of feelings\, emotions\, and passions. \nThe Opening Reception will include live music\, wine\, and light refreshments. \nThe Showcase will hang from May 2nd – June 1st.\n\nClosing Reception: \nSaturday\, May 31\, 2025 \n3:00 PM  7:00 PM \n\n\nMFA Gallery \n10 Bridge St. \nFrenchtown\, NJ

The show runs from May 8 to June 1\, 2025\, with an opening reception on Saturday\, May 10\, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 18 Bridge St.\, Lambertville\, NJ. \n“Still & Wild“ showcases the evocative animal and landscape paintings of A&C Member Beatrice Bork and Michael Schweigart\, exploring the harmony between stillness and wilderness. Bork’s watercolor paintings go beyond representation\, offering intimate observations that balance realism with personal reflection\, guided by a deep reverence for her animal subjects. Schweigart’s landscapes capture fleeting moments of beauty and profound stillness\, inviting viewers on a sensory and emotional journey through nature’s diverse terrain. Together\, their work creates a contemplative experience\, inspiring a deeper connection to the natural world.
