An Evening of Poetry in Memory of Julie Cooper-Fratrik

Our First Thursday Literary Salon for September will be devoted to the memory of Julie Cooper-Fratrik (1941-2025), who passed away last November. A beloved member of the Arts & Cultural Council, past Bucks County Poet Laureate, author of three books of poetry, distinguished teacher of English composition and creative writing, community activist dedicated to education and women’s welfare, and mentor of many, Julie left behind a legacy that will be celebrated at this memorial reading. Poets and friends who were close to Julie will read selections from her poetry, followed by a relaxed discussion and light refreshments. Thursday, September 3, 7:00-8:30 at Freeman Hall, Doylestown.
