Urban Garden

Acrylic and collage on canvas

  • 12 x 12 inches, unframed – $136

Eleni Litt is a teaching artist — telling stories and expressing feelings with line, color, form, and words. Teaching a variety of drawing, painting and mixed media techniques, she delights in creating and nurturing artmaking communities. She has a PhD in Social Anthropology (from the LSE/UK) as well as Certificates in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design and Creative Arts Therapies from The New School where she works as Associate Provost of Faculty Affairs.

This piece, called “Urban Garden,” captures the feel of nature in unexpected places. While it is lovely to see flowers in natural spaces and spaces where they receive lots of love, it also delights me to see what can grow in parking lots or on the streets between row houses.
