Old Mill at Cuttalossa Farm, as featured in Bucks Magazine, depicts this iconic scene admired by visitors and local residents alike. I painted en plein air at Cuttalossa on an overcast afternoon when colors appear to pop the most! An unwelcomed rainfall brought me indoors to complete the painting. I long admired the historical art and architecture, farmlands and seemingly endless green hues of Bucks County. After relocating from Westchester, New York to Doylestown, Pennsylvania, I resumed teaching art to adults in my first Pennsylvania studio, Highland Manor Fine Art Studio, located in Chalfont. I joined Artsbridge Association/Gallery and became membership chairperson where I was introduced to talented local artists who shared my love of the area. In 2008, I assumed the role of Pennsylvania Ambassador for the Portrait Society of America. Currently, I enjoy painting en plein air using oils, pastels and watercolors, and painting commissioned portraits and figures. My artwork can be viewed by appointment at my current studio, Skyview Fine Art Studio, located behind our 1830’s farmhouse, in Pipersville, Pennsylvania and can also be viewed on my website.
