In the spirit of Mercer, I find the inspiration for my art in Bucks County landscapes, flora, and fauna. I grow flowers from seed, and this year I had my first successful breadseed poppies. Poppies are so textural and beautiful that I decided to make a linocut. Flowers are often the subject of my work, I am always in awe of the beauty of the natural world.
