Bucks County Arts Advocacy Day
Monday, April 4, 2011

Bucks County Courthouse (to be confirmed)
Main Street, Doylestown, PA

Bucks County Celebrates National Arts Advocacy Day

Thanks to all who joined us in raising awareness for the importance of the arts in our community. There is no question that Bucks County is rich with cultural resources. As a result of the dedication from our cultural leaders and volunteers, we continue to benefit from the presence of the arts---enhanced educational programs, economic development and overall increased quality of life.

However, the debate over the importance of arts is one that continues today. We must continue to speak up for a cause we support.  Whether it is a legislator, teacher, superintendent, cultural organization or the general public, we thank all who participated in this important event. We hope you join us again next year as we let our voices be heard!

Details

The day has been designed to be informative, interactive and fun. Shortly we will be finalizing details regarding the day’s agenda. Be sure to check our website over the coming weeks.

Attendees are encouraged to bring printed material for distribution at the event.

Are you unable to attend but still want to show your support? Consider co-sponsorship!
