EMZack01 Profile Page
|Elizabeth Zack is an artistic healer. There is a vibrational frequency that she has instilled in her paintings that represent the virtue of their names. Her paintings are inspired by nature scenes. What she intuitively feels she puts on canvas.
Elizabeth’s journey to become an artistic healer started in 2000 when she was trying to find alternative ways to heal her son. In 2002 she lost her son in a physical way and began to heal herself. She returned to painting in 2008. Elizabeth has a special gift of bringing luminous color and light into her work healing the human soul.
Elizabeth started out as a classical oil painter and then evolved from there. She first studied with Bucks County’s classical painter, Dot Bunn getting a solid foundation, learning color palette to mechanics of design in oil painting techniques. Then she studied plein air practicing principles of illusionistic painting and linear perspective with Patrick Connors, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She went on to study with Emily Thompson, experimenting with Abstract panting. Finally, she studied with award winning Ty Hodanish an Impressionistic artist. Her painting is contemporary which allows her spirit to flow through. It is through experimentation in different styles that Elizabeth has developed her own unique style. Her art is a play between Abstract and Realism. It is less about the subject than the emotions the subject evokes. She professes that her artistic talent comes from her Mother’s family in which there are a number of established painters of French heritage.
In addition to shows she exhibits in, her work can be seen by appointment locally.
She is a member of New Hope Art League, Artsbridge Art League, Philadelphia Sketch Club and Arts and Cultural Council of Bucks County. She is also the chairman of the scholarship committee for NHAL. Elizabeth has facilitated the Art Expression Day of “Empowering U” program for teenage girls at the Central Bucks Family YMCA.
Elizabeth’s work has been featured in juried shows, exhibitions, and Bucks County Designer home throughout the region.
