Congratulations to Bucks County Community College on celebrating their golden anniversary! Since its founding in 1964, Bucks has brought affordable higher education to residents of the county and beyond. It was launched as part of the burgeoning community college movement in the U.S. that sought to bring college within reach for all citizens.
We are grateful to former president of the College, Dr. James Linksz who was one of the founders of the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County and graciously provided us a home on their campus. From its modest beginnings on the former Tyler estate, Bucks has grown to three campuses, an online virtual campus, Continuing Education, and a Public Safety Training Center that prepares first-responders across the globe. The Hicks Arts Center and Zlock Performing Arts Center on campus host a variety of events as a part of the “Arts at Bucks” program. Learn more by clicking here.
