Pianist John Novacek has toured extensively across Asia, Europe and North America, both as a soloist and a much sought-after collaborative artist. He has performed in prestigious venues - from the Kennedy Center to the Hollywood Bowl in the United States and then from Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Wigmore Hall (London), to the Theatre des Champs-Elysees (Paris). Mr. Novacek has won numerous international piano competitions, including the Leschetizky, the Mannes Concerto, the Joanna Hodges, the Carmel Music Society, and the Etude Music Club. John has played with artists Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Leila Josefowicz, Lynn Harrell and Laura Frautschi. John Novacek studied piano with Peter Serkin and Jakob Gimpel, chamber music with Jamie Laredo and coaching with both Gary Graffman and Isaac Stern. He has played and worked with internationally recognized composers John Williams and George Rochberg.
